My daughter has had to attend this school on and off over the past few years between two countries and the staff has always welcomed us so nicely. I love their focus on the Edu Dance and sports. The music teacher is lovely. They have some brilliant Kindy/Pre Primary Teachers and the outside play area there is great. My daughter enjoys been back each time.

I went to high school there as did my son, and I would have to say there is far too much bullying... By students and teacher. Sad really

I’m so sorry for my parents who thought they were doing the right thing sending 3 brothers there . They are regretting this even today . Unless you are from a wealthy , well known family you will be treated totally different in a way which you feel uncomfortable. They wished they saved the money and not worked their guts out to pay the excessive fees. If your boy isn’t happy there , don’t push him . He won’t learn . That goes for any educational facilities. No great memories, only horror and abuse . Many in my year felt the same

Where to start...1. The school claims to be all inclusive and celebrates all cultural events but does not celebrate Australia's Culture with Easter and Christmas.2. There is no shade at all within the school except a little patio around each class block.3. There is no play area for the children as they keep adding demountables over the free play spaces.4. They constantly restructure the year groups and class causing major disruption and distress to the children.5. There is limited parking available for parents as they have decided to close a car park off during pick up and collection. (Kiss and drop you can only fit 4 cars and is always overflowing to the street.)6. They push you out the gate straight away after school and lock it within 20 minutes of school finish which doesn't allow you time to chat and mingle with other parents.

We have recently moved to Perth from the UK, and visited a number of schools both state and private. After much deliberation and talking to various people (from people met on dog walks to the local hair salon), we felt Scotch College was the best fit for our two boys (aged 8 and 5). Two weeks in, and the boys absolutely love the school. They are so happy, which to us is THE most important aspect. Secondly the nurturing and caring nature of the teachers (namely Ms Sayers and Mr Munday in Junior School, who are absolutely awesome) and the style of teaching is second to none. And Marley our dog, loves his walk round the huge oval playing fields in the mornings! Thanks also to Mrs Hodges for making the transition to their new school so effortless.
